What if I don’t go to church?
Perfect. You’re in the right place.
Some dads who come to Dad-Up have a church home, and some haven’t been in years.
Either way, you’ll fit right in. We’ll talk about real life — faith, purpose, grit, and fatherhood.
You don’t have to believe to belong, but don’t be surprised if something in you starts to wake up.
Can a father figure take my son?
Absolutely. If a man is willing to show up and invest in a young man’s life, he’s welcome here.
We’ll need a few extra forms signed by parents and guardians, but that’s easy.
Can I take all of my sons?
This camp is designed for one-on-one time.
One dad. One son. One weekend that will shape your relationship forever.
Plan to come back in future years to experience it with each of your boys.
How much does Dad-Up Camp cost?
$220.00 — that covers one father (or father figure) and one son.
It includes the full weekend experience, activities, and one unforgettable adventure.
If I need to cancel, can I get a refund?
No refunds or transfers. Commitment matters.
Please consider your schedule carefully before registering — we build this experience around every father-son team who commits.
Where is Dad-Up Camp?
Base Camp: 1487 Hwy 145 South, Stonefort, Illinois 62987.
Rolling hills, small ponds, and views that remind you God still makes beautiful places.
How old does my son need to be?
Boys must be ages 7–14 at the time of camp.
What time should we arrive?
Check-in runs Friday between 2 PM and 5 PM (CST).
Early birds can hang in the tailgate area, but the hike begins once everyone’s checked in.
Don’t be late — it throws off the whole crew.
What if I have to come late or leave early?
You can’t. This is a shared mission from start to finish.
Come for the full experience or wait for next year.
How long is camp?
Friday through Sunday.
Three days, but they’ll feel like a lifetime of memories.
What do I need to bring?
Once you’re registered, we’ll send a full packing list.
Short version: one duffel, one backpack, a camp chair, dry clothes, food, and your sense of humor.
Is this a “drop-off” camp?
No way. This isn’t “see you Sunday” parenting.
You and your son experience everything side-by-side — building fires, learning skills, and making memories.
How in-shape do I need to be?
Relax — no one’s timing your mile.
If you can hike about ¾ mile with a backpack, you’ll do great.
You’ll sweat a little, laugh a lot, and probably sleep like a rock.
What if it rains?
Then we get wet. Maybe muddy.
That’s part of the story. We’ll make fires, crack jokes, and keep going.
Comfort isn’t the goal — growth is.
What if my son can’t sit still during stage talks?
No problem. Toss a football, take a short walk, or let him move.
The messages are loud enough for both of you to hear — even from the edge of the crowd.
How loud is the event?
The music, messages, and fireworks can get loud.
Bring earplugs if needed, and if that’s still too much, email dadup@manupadventure.com — we’ll do everything we can to help you and your son enjoy it comfortably.
